You’ll love our spectacular views. It would be hard to find a better spot in Portland—or maybe even in the whole state of Maine—to take in a sea breeze, a harbor view, and an endless parade of boats than the DiMillo’s foredeck.
Such a cute restaurant! I really loved how it was on a boat it felt really nice how they spaced everyone out inside. We had to wait in our car about an hour since we didn t have a reservation. However once we got inside the service was really quick and our waitress was nice. My husband and I both got the lazy lobster although he got the admirals portion . For sides we chose green beans saut ed in bacon and cheese polenta. The lobster in the sauce was great. Super buttery and fresh tasting. The green beans weren t overly cooked and they were good in the bacon fat. I would ve gotten desert but I was already too full.
Said an hour wait but only 17 mins and we got a great table. Excellent atmosphere in main front room with a view. Started with bacon wrapped scallops and they were tasty with the maple glaze. The lobster Mac was outstanding but huge. Lazy lobster delivers as well. Too full for desserts. Solid drinks, although a bit pricey. Definitely recommend as a solid seafood choice in Portland.
The second I saw lobster Mac and cheese on the menu, I stopped looking. Wow - it was perfection. Cheesy, buttery, and filled with huge chunks of lobster. It also came with some amazing garlic bread. The side Cesar salad and spicy margarita were also fantastic. My New England dreams came true in this meal!
Best thing I put in my mouth the entire week. I m talking about the lobster stew. It was basically lobster chunks in butter and heavy cream. So delicious. I would definitely order the bacon wrapped scallops again also.
Loved the atmosphere, our waitress Annie was excellent! Tried muscles for the first the first time and did not disappoint! Clam chowder out of this world and fried lobster tail was awesome. Took home bread pudding for later and wished we had gotten two!
