You’ll love our spectacular views. It would be hard to find a better spot in Portland—or maybe even in the whole state of Maine—to take in a sea breeze, a harbor view, and an endless parade of boats than the DiMillo’s foredeck.
Visiting my sister in Portland for her birthday. Flew in from West Palm Beach. DiMillo s is her favorite spot. She had a steak...I had twin lobsters. Single lobster was 25...twin was 29. So that was a no brainer. As always, an excellent meal.
Dimello 39 s takes Covid safely to the extreme. br br We had reservations for outside . Highly recommend that or you will wait. br br They have on their website the covid protocols which we appreciated being able to see first and this is why we picked them! ! br br You must wear a mask at all times unless seated. Staff had masks and gloves and stood back. Tables more than 6 feet apart. br br Lots of space between tables. br br We got drinks and apps. Scallop wrapped in bacon was to die for. Crab cake and calamari was tasty and the clam chowder was a hit too.
Always a superb dining experience. Lobster is always excellent, and the steamers are clean and good. Couple all of that with an excellent view regardless of where you sit, and you have our favorite restaurant in Maine.
It was OK until I went to Boone 39 s. The Lobster Mac n Chz was good but very rich so if you like that, you will be very happy. Portions were large and service was good.
Romantic dinner spot that provides both indoor and outdoor seating. br br There is a huge shared parking lot so parking should not be a problem. br br I was slightly disappointed by how limited the menu is because of the pandemic, mostly because most of the dishes I wanted to try were no longer being served. br br The food was good. I thoroughly enjoyed the scallops wrapped in bacon as the appetizer, mostly because the scallops were so soft and the bacon was juicy. br br The twin Maine lobster was worth the price only 25, for one person only and were delicious with the butter! It also comes with a side. br br The fried lobster tails in my opinion was to greasy I got tired of the fried coating very quickly. I also felt it was very pricy 34 for the portion size br br Overall, I would recommend this place if you 39 re looking for dinner with a nice view of the Maine water.
