You’ll love our spectacular views. It would be hard to find a better spot in Portland—or maybe even in the whole state of Maine—to take in a sea breeze, a harbor view, and an endless parade of boats than the DiMillo’s foredeck.
I can easily say best food in Portland along with the most awesome atmosphere! Our waitress was also so sweet. I strongly recommend a pasta dish I got with the short rib. Simply delicious!
Um. Duh. This is the most amazing place to get your view of Portland and Maine lobster. The outside seating was perfectly shaded. Our server was spectacular. She made my kids feel like people and not just little hungry mouths. Like, real people. She engaged them and chatted with them. She was superbly kind to my grandfather also. Hands down, my most favorite place to eat lobster. The fried calamari was pretty legit too. Oh and the bread. And whipped butter. Really. Just go there already.
The highlight of our trip to portland, ME!!! Our dinner experience literally was the highlight of our vacation. After a long day of taking in the quaint shops and a casual lunch in this beautiful seaside little city getting all dressed up and having amazing seafood was just what we were hoping for on our romantic getaway. From start to finish this was an exceptional experience. They sat us at the most beautiful table overlooking the harbor. What ever else you order please be sure to order the bacon wrapped scallops-- seriously the yummiest thing I have ever eaten!! Drinks amazing!!! Staff lovely, friendly, welcomingFood soooo delicious Atmosphere beautiful Worth the price! Fancy and fabulous!
We are passing through town I have the two lobster tails they were great. Service was great
Beautiful spot on the water with tasty food! We chose deck seating, and had the nicest breeze coming in off the water. Our server Julie was so nice and helpful, answering questions about the menu. I ordered the haddock sandwich which was nice and crispy. My friend had the wedge salad and said it was really good. She also had the lobster stew but said it was straight up cream with generous portions of lobster pieces. The cup of soup was 18 though so she said it wasn t worth the price. The view was definitely worth it though, we both agreed! Also, we arrived straight from the airport with luggage and were told there wasn t an elevator and only deck or bar was available. So we had to lug our luggage up a flight of stairs. We found out shortly after that they could have kept the luggage in a closet downstairs, so keep that in mind if you re coming straight from the airport. Wonderful lunch spot to watch the boats coming in to the wharf.
